Procter & Gamble announces major expansion in Belleville, Ontario
Belleville, ON – Joe Folk, P&G Belleville Plant Manager, and Belleville Mayor Mitch Panciuk are pleased to announce the P&G Belleville manufacturing site will undergo a significant expansion starting next month. The new development will result in the creation of approximately 100 jobs at the Belleville facility. P&G’s investment in the Belleville facility solidifies their position as the global leader in the production of the Always brand.
“The approval of this additional business for our Belleville site is the result of strong confidence in the continued growth of the Always brand. We will break ground for the new development in June, with our first production run scheduled for March 2020,” commented Mr. Folk. “This new investment is the result of the dedication and hard work of all of our employees and contractors and we thank them for their commitment.”
“This additional investment in the Belleville P&G facility is great news for our community and the entire region,” said Mayor Panciuk. “P&G remains one of our best employers and their commitment to excellence and the hard work of their people has resulted in this new investment in Belleville.”
The building addition and the new equipment represent a capital investment of more than $100 million and bring the square footage of the Belleville P&G plant to roughly a million square feet.
