Manufacturing Resource Centre
A part of the Quinte Economic Development Commission, the Manufacturing Resource Centre (MRC) is an office dedicated to assisting our local manufacturers.
Investigating government funding programs, keeping abreast of government legislation or coordinating training can take time away from a company’s core function. The MRC is a free resource available to industry in the Bay of Quinte providing them with the assistance they need to maintain and grow their businesses. To date the MRC has helped local manufacturers access over $50 million in government support.
Facilitating Industry Connections
The MRC provides administrative support for the Quinte Manufacturers Association and the Quinte Technology Association. These groups provide opportunities for local industry to share best practices and network among peers.
We do all our stuff through Mike Hewitt, Coordinator of the Manufacturing Resource Centre. We’re received lots of great funding through Loyalist, QEDC and the MRC to help us with an existing high profile customer. Capitalizing on the funding they offered, we were able to exceed our customer’s expectations.
