Tire Wizard is a software that makes it easier and faster for car dealers to sell tires, wheels, and tire accessories. Tire Wizard’s software takes tire information — including pricing, year, make and model — and customizes it for each dealership, keeping it all in one place online.
Car dealers in eastern Ontario can find out all the information they want to know about tires in 5 seconds, helping them serve more customers more efficiently — especially over the extremely busy tire change season in winter and spring.
Chad Guziewicz, founder of Tire Wizard, saw the need in eastern Ontario for a more streamlined process for finding tires. With a number of local dealerships in the area, including Honda and GM, he decided to create a cloud-based software that is like Amazon, but for finding tires.
“When a customer needs new tires, the dealer can go on the site and price them out. No different than going on Amazon. Tire Wizard speeds up the dealership’s service and ensures the customer gets the right tires at the right price.”
And with the help of groups like the Quinte Economic Development Commission (QEDC), Tire Wizard is growing.
Tire Wizard Chose Belleville for its Tech Cluster
As Tire Wizard grew, the need for more workers from the tech industry became necessary. Tire Wizard chose to move from a more rural area to downtown Belleville to benefit from the local tech talent.
“In downtown Belleville it’s easier. A lot of our employees live in Belleville, Trenton and Napanee, so it’s easier for us to find talent now we are in Belleville. We’ve even recruited people from Toronto to come and live and work in Belleville. People are open to leaving the big city once they find out the job opportunities that exist here.”
In Belleville there’s a tech cluster of workers and businesses and that helps talent come and stay. It helps businesses find the talent they need because the demand is there for the tech jobs.
Also Belleville is a desirable place to live because it includes
- Bus routes
- An urban centre
- Large businesses
- A tech cluster
“The proximity to highway 401 is good for us too. The multi-lane highway provides a quick commute for employees and easy access to other locations. If I need to go to meetings in Toronto I can get on the train and get downtown hassle free. We’ve had people come in from Montreal too, and we pick them up at the train station with no problem.”
Belleville is an area of eastern Ontario that includes a vibrant downtown, business community and tech cluster, helping companies like Tire Wizard attract quality tech talent and keep them.
