Archer’s Poultry Farm – Hatchery Receives Funding Support
June 2, 2017
June 2 2017 – Bay of Quinte MP Neil Ellis announced that the Archer’s Poultry Farm Inc hatchery, located in the City of Quinte West (Trenton), will receive $100,000 from Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation.
The investment towards a total project cost of up to $200,000 aims to integrate a high-tech operational infrastructure at the new Trenton facility. The funding under the Eastern Ontario Development Program’s (EODP) Collaborative Economic Development Projects (CEDP) stream will result in the creation of up to 10 new full-time jobs.
Archer’s will leverage the funding against the addition of a state-of-the-art incubator system, which will allow the company to adopt the latest in operational best practices, technological innovations and output efficiencies.
By expanding processing capacity, this will better position the company to compete on a global scale, while promoting growth within the community and the surrounding region.
