400 Jobs at HGS by the end of 2012: Management and Frontline 

HGS Canada (formerly On-Line Support Inc (OLS)) joined Belleville’s community in September 2012 and announced in May that they would initially need 200 employees by Autumn; 400 by the end of the year.

The new site is an expansion for HGS Canada who already operates 10 other sites in Canada. The Belleville site will handle HGS Customer Care and Contact Centre operations.

HGS Canada Likes Bay of Quinte Labourers

Ross Beattie, President & CEO at HGS has said, “We were very impressed with the quality of the people  who showed an interest in a career with HGS. This was one of the main factors in our decision to come here.” HGS held a job fair before deciding to set up in the Bay of Quinte.

As a demonstration of the HGS commitment to their new community, the company made a surprise $5,000 donation to Belleville’s Three Oaks Shelter and Service organization.
